Day 1: Arrive Milan
Upon arrival to the Milan airport, meet-and-greet service ensures a seamless transition through customs and transfer to the Park Hyatt Milan. Housed in a 19th century palazzo adjacent to the famed Galleria, the property epitomizes elegance with generous space, clean lines and high ceilings.

Day 2: Milan City Center
With your private guide, begin with Milan’s most famous landmark, the Duomo, which sits at its heart. Pass through Piazza Affari to reach Castello Sforzesco where you will hear the history of this complex, improved and expanded by generations of Milanese royals, and boasts Renaissance masterpieces from Michelangelo and Donato. You will then visit the world famous La Scala opera house, which has hosted the finest operatic performances and singers from around the world. Today ends in a very special way as you are one of just a few people to be able to visit Leonardo’s Last Supper painting. Spanning 29 feet by 15 feet, you will see this magnificent work of art up close and without massive crowds.

Day 3: Lake Como
Enjoy a leisurely morning at the Park Hyatt and perhaps go for a walk around Milan or enjoy some final shopping amongst its many high-end stores. Mid-day you will be privately driven to Lake Como, a destination renown for its natural beauty and as a beautiful place escape. You will check into the Grand Hotel Tremezzo, which was the first hotel of its kind to be built on the lake in 1910. It’s iconic exterior and architecture welcomes you with panoramic views of Lake Como, and on a clear day the snow-capped Alps to the north.

Day 4: On Como
The best way to experience the central Lake Como area is from the water – take in its colorful lakeside villas and its elegant villas from the comfort of your private boat. Your driver/guide will discuss the long history of the lake and its villages as you soak in la dolce vita and understand why it is such a sought-after destination! Visit the esteemed Villa Balbianello, set majestically at the tip of the Lavedo Promontory and a filming location for films including James Bond and Star Wars.

Day 5: Lake Leisure
Today is a day of leisure to enjoy some rest & relaxation on Lake Como. We might recommend taking the ferry across the way to visit the impossibly charming village of Bellagio. Sit at a water front café and observe the locals and the boat traffic on the lake, or walk its narrow lanes full of shops and local products. A visit to Locanda Della’Isola Comacina is always recommended, due to its cuisine but also due to the incredible history of the island and the restaurant.

Day 6: Lake Garda via Bergamo
Your driver will privately transfer you from Lake Como to Lake Garda, while you in store for a treat as you will stop in the ancient town of Bergamo and visit its well preserved old walled town area. Bergamo has roots prior to Roman times, and over the centuries has always played an important part in the power struggles in the area, as it sits between old powers and rivals. Milan and Venice. After Bergamo, you will continue to Lake Garda where you will check into Lefay Resort & Spa. Set above the lake-side town of Gargnano, Lefay commands views across Lake Garda and is a destination to feel re-invigorated due to its extensive spa and wellness offerings.

Day 7: Cruising Garda
A private boat ride on Italy’s largest lake takes you to the south shores including its gorgeous views in all directions and charming lakeside villages. Two special stops await you as you disembark at the villages of Desenzano and Sirmione. These towns retains their old Roman layout, ruins, and Sirmione’s castle is complete from a fairy tale with its ramparts, turrets and towers to climb.

Day 8: Garda Leisure
Enjoy a day of leisure at Lake Garda, which could include taking advantage of the nourishment options at Lefay or you may decide to visit Gargnano below for shopping, strolling and wine.

Day 9: Venice via Verona
Your driver will privately transfer you from Lake Garda to Venice, while you will enjoy a visit en-route “in fair Verona”. Verona boasts one of the best-preserved Roman amphitheaters, dating to AD 30, and still used for concerts and opera. Verona first settlers date to approx. 550 BC and it remained an important city due to its intersection of several roads that crossed east/west and north/south in this part of Europe. The mythical Juliet balcony can be visited, and you can decide to be up there or in Romeo’s courtyard below. Enjoy lunch in a local restaurant before continuing your transfer to Venice. Check into The Gritti Palace, an elegant and historic palazzo overlooking the Grand Canal which was originally home to the Doge of Venice in the 1500’s.

Day 10: Best of Venice
Join your private guide to explore the narrow alleys of Venice, absorbing the incredible architecture all around plus appreciating the way Venice interacts with its many canals that crisscross the many islands. Walk to St Mark’s Square and soak in the 360-degree iconic views of the setting. Your guide will take you inside St. Mark’s Basilica where you can observe the Italian-Byzantine architecture including the famed mosaic floor. Your very own gondola has been reserved for you, and your gondolier will take you among some of the quieter, smaller canals where you have a unique viewpoint onto Venice. Hors d’oeuvres and a bottle of wine accompanies your special experience on the water. Finally, your guide will take you to the island of Burano where you can visit one of the local studios which works with the world-famous Burano-glass.

Day 11: Departure
Today you will check out of your Venice hotel and privately transferred to the Venice airport via high-speed boat for your return flight home.
